Too many companies in our profession sell "preventive contracts" that are actually placement contracts: thirty bait stations permanently in place, few visits, even less data. How it works in practice
1. Full initial audit. Detailed mapping of your site: storage areas, access, technical voids, planted terraces, ducts, crawl spaces. Risk identification per zone (rodents, crawling insects, flying insects, birds), alert-threshold definition.
2. Risk mapping. Each zone is scored for criticality. An HACCP kitchen with flour storage is in red zone; a service staircase leading to a planted terrace is orange; an underground car park may be green. The monitoring plan adapts.
3. Digital monitoring plan. Installation of non-lethal sentinel traps (interceptors, glue traps in secured zones), pheromone traps for specific insects, humidity control in sensitive areas. Each piece of equipment is numbered, geolocated, accessible on your dashboard.
4. Quarterly contracts. Four annual visits minimum (more if critical zone), with systematic reading, seasonal adjustment, and immediate intervention upon report. No bogus 30-visit contracts — we bill for analysis, not presence.
5. Real-time reporting. You always know what is happening in your establishment. Quarterly reports are automatically generated, compliance certificates are downloadable, the biocide register is exportable for authorities.
